Extension of the Exceptional Visa Exemption Measure for Citizens Residing Abroad Until 31 December 2026

In implementation of the high directives of His Excellency the President of the Republic, and in line with his constant commitment to addressing the concerns of members of the national community abroad, including facilitating their travel to the national territory, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs hereby informs our citizens residing abroad who hold valid foreign passports that, on an exceptional basis, it has been decided to extend the application of the currently applicable facilitation measure.

This measure allows them to enter and exit the national territory without the requirement to obtain a visa, and it shall remain in effect until 31 December 2026.

Under this facilitation measure, beneficiaries are authorized to present only a valid foreign passport, accompanied by a national biometric passport or a national biometric identity card, even if either document has expired, provided that the same documents are used both upon entry into and exit from the national territory.
