PRESS VISA

This type of visa is issued to representatives of foreign media or journalists, upon approval from the Algerian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Visa Application Form to be filled out on-screen, printed, dated and hand signed.
One (1) recent standard photo.
Employment verification letter indicating the job title or position of the applicant and the purpose of the visit.
Copy of the applicant’s professional ID card.
Letter of invitation from the Algerian part.
A detailed description of Audio or Video Equipment to be used during the visit.
Program of the visit, list of persons to be interviewed, and filming locations.
The original passport and a copy of the main photo page (passport must be valid for at least 6 months and contain a minimum of two (2) blank pages).
For non-US passports, provide a copy of the US legal residency (Green Card, or appropriate visa).
Proof of address within our Consular jurisdiction (Valid Driver's License, Utility Bill, Bank or credit card statement, insurance policy or bill…).
For a faster and safer return of your documents, provide a Priority Mail Express return envelope.
USPS Money order of the amount specified below depending on the type of visa.
The fee for US passports is 160$ (Non-refundable).
