TRANSFER OF FILE

This procedure is carried out by the Consulate, and registration is granted as soon as the file is received from the previous Embassy/Consulate.

• Application form completed and signed.
• Two (2) recent passport photos 2x2 inches (51x51 mm) in size.
• Original full-size birth certificate (E.C 12, Copie integrale) if born in Algeria, or any birth certificate if born abroad.
• Copy of the photo page of your Algerian passport (if available).
• Copy of US entry visa;
• C Copy of your US passport, Naturalization certificate, green card, nonimmigrant visa and/or document issued by USCIS showing your legal stay in the US.
• Copy of the Algerian marriage certificate, family book, divorce certificate or decree or spouse's death certificate (if applicable).
• Proof of employment, self-employment, or school enrollment (alternatives accepted).
• Proof of U.S. address (utility bill, lease agreement, etc.);
• Self-addressed stamped envelope;
