On the sidelines of the visit of the Secretary of State in charge of the National Community Abroad, Mayor Daniel Lurie of San Francisco received Mr. Sofiane Chaib at City Hall. The meeting addressed prospects for cooperation in the fields of modern technology and artificial intelligence, given San Francisco's status as a global innovation hub. The Mayor also commended the opening of the Consulate General, considering it an important step toward reinforcing Algeria’s presence and strengthening ties with the community on the West Coast.
